 Power generation Scania
-
An emergency case in an operating theatre. A construction site in a remote area. A 747 approaching Kuala Lumpur airport as the runway lights begin to flicker. A military command and control centre, with jet movements being tracked on the radar screen.
-
In these and thousands of other situations, the availability of electrical power is crucial. Either as prime power or as stand-by power. In either case - wherever there is a critical need for dependable, durable and reliable workhorses that require a minimum of service and maintenance - the answer is Scania engines for power generation.

Environmental power
-
Diesel is still the most widely used fuel for our engines, but alternative fuels are becoming more and more common - a situation that Scania can of course cope with.
-
The preferences for alternative fuels vary from market to market, as do the legal or political reasons to promote one fuel or the other.
-
Based on that fact, Scania Engines can provide you with a basic engine that can be converted to run on a fuel to suit your market preference.
-
Scania Engines invests in long-term reliable fuels, with engines that can run on blended diesel - e.g. diesel mixed with RME. Naturally the engines will also run on 100% biodiesel according to EN14214.
